The hotel is very attractive and the rooms are very nice. The staff is very friendly. When we were checking out, we got a car from the hotel to the airport. The doorman left when we got to the exit and was not there when the car came 5 minutes later. He did come back during that time to adjust the lock on the door but not to help us leave the hotel.

This is a magnificent hotel. The location is at the port which has some rough areas… not safe at night. But I would stay here again for the elegance and quality of the property. The staff recommended a lovely small restaurant in walking distance that we enjoyed.

Unique hotel. Superb service!!! In the top 5 of all hotels I have stayed in over the past 20 years. Wifi was a bit slow at times

Wow! First, this is an outstanding and amazing, historical property full of frescos and artwork, it takes your breath on entry and has artworks and surprises everywhere. Every room/suite is unique and ours was stunning. The standards are very high and the staff deserve full mention, they are friendly and welcoming, informative and proud. We loved the breakfasts and the girls in the kitchen were just fabulous. The port antico is great for relaxing dinning and drinks. The elephant in the room though is the area just behind and around the hotel. This is a major working European city, diverse and multi-cultured. If you want a tourist resort then avoid this port city. We however loved its vibrancy and diversity.

Amazing property in a fascinating city. The staff were outstanding and the room very comfortable. Could not have been a better trip. The hotel is extraordinary. Will be back!
