Valletta view Apartments by ST Hotels

The photographs for this accommodation show a large outdoor pool on the sea front. This is not in the Aparthotel grounds, it is a publicly available lido about 20 yards along from the hotel the other side of a busy road. It's free to use for occupants of the hotel and apartments but when we were there in early June 2026 it was absolutely packed. The pool is only open from 10 to 6 as it is also a restaurant outside these hours. The description doesn't tell you that the hotel itself has a spa with a small outdoor pool on the roof of the hotel, this was free to use and a very pleasant area with sunbeds and parasols, a bar, and spectacular views, and was not noisy or over-busy. Our apartment was cleaned well but a bit "tired". There was a tear in one of the sofas, a patch of uneven floor tiles, and the bathroom was quite scruffy. On the upside, the beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The entrance to the apartment was a very short walk from the entrance to the hotel. The name of the hotel in large letters on the side of the building is shown as Bayview Hotel, not Valletta View, which confused us when our taxi driver was trying to drop us off. The situation is great, right on the promanade with countless bars and restaurants within a short walk and a 10 minute walk to the Valletta ferry. We really enjoyed our stay despite the negatives I have mentioned.

Still had daily services, changing towels and turning down bed. Didn't expect this as we were in a self contained apartment.

Amazing location and the views were spectacular. A few idiosyncrasies that you soon got use to. We were in an apartment, so small elevator, steep staircase, temperamental door code, but well worth the learning curve

1. Sofas ripped in lounge 2. Bathroom handle and lock hanging off 3. No towels for 2 days 4. Little hot water 5. Patio doors did not lock in lounge or bedroom 6. No towel to dry dishes & glasses 7. bathroom door didn't close or lock and the handle kept falling off; bathroom sink did not drain; patio doors did not close or lock and with rain and window there was water leaking into living room; TV did not work and we had to get it fixed which took about 2 hours; internet only worked next to router and kept dropping; the safe had no lock on it; the toaster and iron plugs did not match malta outlets so they were useless; apartment smelled like an Indian restaurant and smell could not be eliminated with spray or air freshener; power went out twice and we had to assist maintenance person to resolve; living room carpet was filthy; couch had leather scuffs; tiles broken throughout; bathroom door was very damaged and entire bathroom was patched together - very distasteful; main entrance would not open with the code provided so we had to wait for mainentance - lots of time wasted on waiting for items to be fixed multiple times. NO PARKING! Apartment is NOT as advertised and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Remotes for A/C damaged, barely useable, hardly any useful kitchen pans,stove defective, no instructions, no hot water in kitchen, sink drain no plug, fridge dripping water in marble floor, shower doors defective, washing machine no instructions, motion detector kept turning A)C off when out so always very hot when returning to apartment, only one kitchen towel
