The staff was helpful and so kind, the restaurant was great food and the staff was also, very helpful and kind. We had great breakfast and we ate dinner there. All very good food. They also gave us cookies and popcorn, which my children loved.

Amazing location, tucked in amongst more expensive hotels, and medieval St Olave's church right next door for a full-on dose of London history. Initially there was a problem with having been given a room with faulty air conditioning on a hot day; customer service initially indifferent and I lost valuable rest in a boiling room. However, the excellent and swift intervention by Michael ensured a room change with excellent temperature control. Good little gym in the basement which I had to myself with Belu water and fresh fruit available.
