We stayed at Hotel Regina for one night after arriving late into Milan. The location is convenient, within walking distance of restaurants, gelato shops and the metro. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and comfortable bed. The layout of the room also helped minimise noise from neighbouring guests, which we appreciated.
That said, the hotel feels quite dated and would benefit from refurbishment. The furnishings and décor are showing their age, and there was a strange noise coming from the fridge during the night. Breakfast was average, and we had to wait a while for someone to appear at reception when checking in. Overall, it was a comfortable and practical choice for a short stay, but not somewhere that particularly stood out.

Really nice classic hotel. With high standards and care. Well located for Metro, shops and sights. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was very good indeed. A hotel I will always return.

Breakfast and coffee had started at 7 each morning, but with being in Milan there was plenty of options.
I chose the property for its location, being a 15 min walk to the cathedral and another 15 min walk to the canal restaurant area.
Plenty of shopping in between and the area overall felt extremely safe.
