El Taj Oceanfront & Beachside Condo Hotel

තරු ශ්‍රේණිගත කිරීම් Klook හි දේපල පිළිබඳ දළ විශ්ලේෂණය මත පදනම් වේ (සේවා සහ පහසුකම් ඇතුළත් කර ඇති ආකාරය වැනි), තවද ඒවා යොමු කිරීම සඳහා පමණි.

All excellent except beach covered in seaweed and odiferous.

Besides the sargassum from mother nature and a couple days of the elevator out of service, id definitely come back. The pool was great and nothing wrong with a little exercise :)

This is our 4th time in this area. Aside from the sargasso, this stay was a disappointing experience. The accommodations were deceiving. The penthouse had 3 separate areas that were only accessible by outside stairs. We had to ask for more towels as there were 6 of us staying and didn’t have enough towels. We were told we would be charged. There was nothing in the cabinets and the rooms space was very small for a “penthouse” The pool was not clean. 😞

Be aware, when you book and pay booking, there’s no mention of a $250 security deposit. You get that notice days before check in. You’re told it will be returned after 48hrs (2 days). I checked out Sunday morning after only staying on the property 12 hours, AND DEPOSIT HAS STILL NOT BEEN RETURNED. The place is good, location is great, communication is lackluster, and the elevators weren’t working during our stay either. Luggage was dragged up the stairs.

The room was clean and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will say the room was clean and cleaned regularly. The pictures on Expedia are deceiving. The building needs some remodeling and the picture look like they were taken when the place was built. The pool wasn't working the last two days and was cloudy and a little green. The elevator was also out of service. Not that that was an issue but if you can't do stairs and you are on the third floor it is something to be aware of. Our hot tub wasn't working, but the staff got right on it. Staff again was perfect.

Starting with the good… housekeeping was fantastic and we loved how walkable the neighborhood was surrounding the hotel. We felt safe walking around with our family of 4 and enjoyed the 2 different pools. The gardens were beautiful and the pet turtle in the pond was a favorite for the children. Now the negative… the beach is completely trashed by sargassum (brown seaweed) and the resulting smell is horrible. From the moment you step out of your taxi to every time you open your front door, you are assaulted by the rotting smell of the decomposing piles of sargassum that sit along this section of the beach. Due to the nature of the shoreline, it accumulates really bad in front of this hotel, so don’t count on eating at the beachside restaurant or enjoying time on the beach if you come during the summer months. I recognize that sargassum is a problem over the summer months along all of the Maya Riviera, but other hotels along Playa seem to be able to manage the sargassum better than this particular location. In our particular unit, the washer didn’t work and we had to keep prompting the staff to get maintenance to fix it. Every time we called, they acted like they were surprised about the situation. It finally got fixed half way through the stay. Then 2 out of the 4 TVs in our 3 bedroom condo didn’t work, and the AC in the one bedroom needed fixed. The elevator on the south set of beachfront condos didn’t work the whole week we were there.

The hotel and staff are great. Well located near everything. The rooms are spacious, well equipped, excellent aircon and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we return to playa del Carmen. Thank you!

La piscina estaba muy hermosa ,todo está muy lujoso, cuenta con todas las comodidades, por la noche se mira espectacular la vista, de hecho todo funcionaba muy bien, todo muy limpio, el personal es muy atento todo el tiempo me estuvieron ayudando muy amables, me encanta cada detalle que tienen dentro de él los cuadros los asientos toda la decoración del interior y el exterior, y tiene una vista muy hermosa, definitivamente me volveré a quedar en un futuro con ellos
