The Swans Nest Hotel

Great location beside river. Easy walk into the sights . Parking £10. Busy . Getting renovated . Good bed and air con . No WiFi in room

We liked that the hotel was right in the heart of town and that there was a lot of energy and activity around. The restaurant was only fair in so far as the food goes. The service was haphazard in the restaurant and there was no one to greet you. The room was okay , but it was cold when we were there and the heat did not work. We had constant air conditioning blowing on us. The front desk was sympathetic to the problem, but was unable to fix the issue. By the second night , the front desk person figured out to disengage the air conditioning which was more than just turning off a switch. She found a portable heater which helped on the second night. When we checked out , the front desk clerk asked how our stay was and we told her about the heat less first night , she was not concerned and said “Oh well.” I thought she might have been more concerned and even reduced our rate for the one night. Maybe having the Swans Neat in the heart of the city has made the management team a little too comfortable!

The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to everything, plenty of parking with the property.

Lovely room perfect would definitely stay again. Walk straight out to the river and Theatre.

Lot of work beo g carried out

There was some renovation taking place during our stay. This didn't impact our stay but it worth noting that there was work going on throughout the duration. The staff were brilliant and really helpful. The parking is limited but great value if you are travelling by car and able to stay.

Position of the hotel quiet but central staff were helpful & pleasant Pierre's was handy it was very hot but room had air con & fan 😊

I had a brilliant experience from check in to check out. The bed was really comfy too. The location of the property is fantastic just a quick walk into Stratford-upon-Avon town centre. Lots of places to eat, as well as the hotel, on the way.

Place was like a building site, which we had no notification of when booking.
