Minn Asakusa Kappabashi

Did not make up the upper bunk bed and kept saying we had belongings on bed but we didn't.

Nice room

Our stay was very pleasant and hotel was in a convenient location to the train station.

The biggest game changer for our family was to have a functioning washer/dryer in our room. Sometimes the all-in-one machine doesn't dry well, but ours worked fine. It was also great to have a small kitchen area with a dining table, making it easy for quick meals and snacks. Three things to note: 1) eating in your room also means sorting your own trash (as is custom in Japanese households), 2) there is no free daily housekeeping, and 3) the nearest subway station is a 10-15 minute walk. Since we are avid walkers and enjoyed the apartment-style accommodations, we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located in a quiet area, making it perfect for families. Our room was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. We especially appreciated having a refrigerator and a dining table, which made it easy to enjoy breakfast and snacks in the room. Overall, it was a comfortable, peaceful stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others!

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay especially having the laundry/washer/dryer. We love our stay. The only downfall is that there is construction works nearby and it gets a little loud in the morning. I love the location as it has many grocery stores & konbini around. You’ll enjoy here with the family.

Pre-check-in helped save us so much time when we got onto the property from a 13 hr flight. The room was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. Our room included two twin beds, three futons, small top stove burner, refrigerator, microwave, toaster over, W/D, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker, hot water maker pitcher, cooking utensils, silverware, and two knives. Oh there were house slippers in the room too with a shoe rack. There were extra umbrellas downstairs in the lobby for guests in case you needed one too. They were prompt at providing attention to our requests (example: extra towels, sheets, toilet paper, trash bags). The washer and dryer combo was unique and took upto 4.5 hrs to complete a large load. It has a small capacity so you can’t put too much in there or your clothes will be really wrinkly. We had a good view from the top floor. Very quiet streets with some stores and residences. Convenient location to train stations and grocery stores (about an 10 min walk). Overall I would definitely stay here again when I am here in Asakusa.

The Minn location was lackluster. The room for a Japanese hotel was big, but checking in was a hassle. The staff was very nice. The room was also a bit dusty.

This property was absolutely perfect for our last weekend in Japan. Loved the location and proximity to food and shopping. Transportation was only a short walk away. Really appreciated the space and amenities of a fridge and washing machine after a long, hot two weeks travelling around the country. Great value for the space and location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really liked the free bag storage but get down early to claim a spot. The website states no luggage delivery, and we had to make some complex arrangements for our bags, but we saw deliveries arrive. We would have liked to have been able to use takkyubin. We later found disagreement between the hotel guide sent and the hotel website.

Hotel is very clean, and the room has an excellent space organization. Stayed for 6days and i really appreciate that there’s a washer/dryer! So happy to go back home with little clothes to wash. Location wise, perfect to just walk around small shops and temples.
