IntercityHotel Berlin Airport BER Terminal 1+2

It’s a small space but very comfortable. Check-in was easy and check out as well. I especially appreciated the proximity to grocery stores and the bus stop. It’s easy to get around from there and yet you feel like you’re a little bit in the country. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one would need to cook a meal or have breakfast at home.

Very convenient location especially if you have to catch an early flight out of Berlin. Walk to terminal. Breakfast was expensive, did not purchase.

The staff was friendly, and the room was generally good. The restaurant food was OK (salmon slightly over cooked), but I waited approx. 10-15 minutes to pay the bill after the initial request to pay. And the WiFi was horrendous - little to no signal.

A very convenient airport stay. Not far to walk from the terminal, and the path there is very well lit and safe late at night. The rooms were relatively spacious and very clean, and check-in was quick after a late flight. The train station into the centre was incredibly close.

Great location, walking distance from terminal 1 and 2. Very clean.

We had some difficulty FINDING the hotel from the train station in the airport.. All the directions told us to go down the escalators.. since we had several pieces of baggage we could not go down the escalator and NO ONE told us there was an elevator that we could take. we ended up paying a cab ( who took us to the wrong Intercity hotel) and then another cab back to the correct Intercity hotel. When we returned to fly out after our stay we were escorted across the plaza to the elevator and up to the airport for check in. We wasted 50 Euros due to lack of correct information.

Hotel is perfect if you want to stay at the airport; it is next to terminal 1 and 2 entrance. 5 minute walk through the terminal from rental car return. Linen and bathroom was very clean. Restaurant was fine and spacious. Would definitely stay here again, convenient and stress free.

Had I known how accessible this hotel was to the trains, I would have booked it for my entire 5 night stay in Berlin but this was my first trip to the city and had no idea how well the train system works in this city. Next time I will stay here for the duration and not bother with hotels nearer Berlins centre. My room was in excellent condition, very clean, bed was quite comfortable after 4 hours of train and disembarking from Cruiseship. The shower was a wonderful waterfall type shower which I will be installing in my bathroom when I return home. Staff were great and quite helpful and all spoke English very well, which was perfect for me. The restaurant on site gives a smattering of different foods from pizza and different appetizers to steak and burger. I opted for the burger with fries which was a double patty with all the trimmings and steak cut fries. A wonderful meal although the burger was a bit more than I could eat. I could have walked to the airport( about 5 -10 minute walk)for something to eat but I wasn’t looking for another sandwich. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Quiet rooms. Nice to be this close to the airport for an early morning flight.
