INDITION Chongqing Jiefangbei Raffles

Stayed for 4 nights in late April, had a fantastic stay at indition High altitude hotel. The views over the river are unparelled, if you have a view facing up river towards Hongya Cave then I genuinely believe you cannot get a better view in the whole city. The enormous bath in the room was incredible and the location was spot on. The only drawback is the rooms could be maintained a little better, some of the finer details were missing, but it really didn't bother us so much, it's a fantastic hotel for the money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chongqing now.

This room certainly has WOW factor when you look at the pictures online. The location is exceptional, located across the road from Raffles City Hotel and Shopping Mall. The views are also incredible on the 37th floor. The room itself is pretty rough around the edges and in my opinion is not worth the extra money. We have also stayed at the Intercontinental in Raffles City and this is truly exceptional and was about 70% of the price of this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful, however when we were checking out, they could not call a taxi/car for us as they do not offer this service. Also no restaurant or breakfast is offered at the hotel.

The staff were great, but as other reviews say, the photos vs actual property state are completely off. There were gaps in seals and roof, no soap in some bathrooms, problems with hot water consistency, occasional smell of sewage, the rooms are just in a really bad state of wear.

The in-room pool was not heated and according to staff, takes one full day to heat up. Given I only stayed one night, this feature was unusable.

Great place to stay and great view on the bridge and the city. Attention to detail a bit poor especially internal finished like tiles and joints.
