Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Dublin

Bags of trash were left in the hallway

Check in was supposed to be at 3:00. The rooms weren’t ready/clean. It would have been helpful to know before we left CoSi and got to the hotel at 3:30 that our room wasn’t going to be ready until closer to 5. We could have adjusted our schedule better. The room was okay. The tub didn’t drain and there was some kind of debris floating in the bottom. Mattresses were in okay shape (some stains and hairs). Sheets seemed clean. 4 people on the room and only 3 towels. Not a huge deal, but we didn’t want to wait for another towel because they were definitely already understaffed.

Comfortable clean and helpful stafg

Complimentary breakfast NOT offered. Toilet in 155 flushes weakly & poorly. It also has a slow dripping leak. Several dead trees & bad spots in the sidewalks.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very well kept. I loved the courtyard and the amenities. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Lighting was bad. Rooms dark with old lampshades. King bed had a queen size comforter and sheet that was too small. The towels were old and very stiff. They desperately needed updated.

We wanted connecting rooms and was originally provided connecting rooms however close to the end of our night right after dinner, one of the rooms AC units started leaking water really bad, soaking the floor and our bags, upon notifying the front desk we were able to be moved however we had to be moved to not as nice rooms, and they were not connecting rooms at all, and the rooms we were moved to were on the side by the highway and we could hear every truck that went by and we had 4 kids with us so it kinda kept them up some. To offset this bad event, management is supposed to add a lot of extra points onto my Marriott rewards account but they haven’t been added yet. So I’ll keep looking for them and I guess we’ll see if they decide to send them. The hotel itself is a decent hotel with a nice smaller salt water pool and the hallways and rooms were very clean. Besides the one unfortunate event, it was a good place to stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was also very pleasant and clean. Apparently the hotel has been well maintained and fairly recently updated. It is a good choice.
