The location was ideal. The room was dated but fine. It looked like the sheets on the pull out bed had not been changed from last guest and there were a lot of ants. We were also asked to pay a deposit when we arrived, which I wasn't aware of and eventually they let it go but not without having to get upset about it.

The motel is certainly very comfortable. Clean room, nicely warm thanks to heaters, nice balcony and comfortable beds. The little kitchen is well equipped.
There is no street noise, and it is only one block back from the beach and restaurant/bakery for coffee.
The manager was kind enough to let us check in at 8am after a 12 hour flight when we were bedraggled and exhausted.
We would certainly consider staying again.

A gem for global travelers who enjoy unique stays in great neighborhoods! Welcoming and warm host. Fabulous location near Kohi and Mission Bay. Walk to best restaurants and beaches. Super clean, comfortable beds, cute apartment style accommodations. I liked the retro kitchen and vibe. Would stay here again!

Room was clean and tidy and adequate for our overnight stay and price was reasonable. Staff were friendly. Location to beach and places to eat excellent.
Exterior/interior fittings a bit tired and needs upgrading but just superficial and no real complaints. Thank you for our stay.

I booked this motel for my family who were visiting Auckland to spend Christmas with me, and I was hoping to find somewhere close to the ocean, as we all love the beach.
From the moment I made the booking, the motel owner contacted me and suggested a suite with separate sleeping areas, which was perfect for our family and gave us extra space. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful — they even allowed early access so I could decorate the suite for Christmas and surprise my family.
The motel is just a few minutes from a beautiful beach and a lovely café, both of which we visited many times during our stay.
This place is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, truly a home away from home. We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning again and again.
I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful experience, and we will always cherish the special memories we made here.

නියමයි Friendly staff. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Room #2 has separate bedroom. There is an outside, roof covered, sitting area.
