Mama Shelter Toulouse

We enjoyed our stay. But with the very hot weather, It would have been awesome if we knew or could have turned the Air conditioning to a much lower setting.. 22. Seemed to be preset. Way too hot in our room. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was definitely one of the best we have had..

Un hôtel nouveau genre, qui se veut sympa et innovant, très achalandé le soir par les jeunes, resto et café terrasse avec DJ le soir.. au centre de Toulouse, pour les jeunes qui veulent passer du beau temps, c'est l'endroit idéal pour passer la nuit.

Great place to stay, good vibes and central

This hotel would be great for a very short stay. Rooms are clean, showers nice, beds are comfy. Breakfast is excellent, if a bit pricey. The vibe is fun and funky, with eclectic decor. And the location is perfect. BUT... Choose somewhere else for a stay longer than 1-2 days. The rooms have no storage (no drawers or cupboards), just a high shelf with a few hangers on the edge. There were no chairs in our room. The fridge is is smaller than most places I've stayed, and ours did not work well. There was no coffee maker or kettle (we were told we could have borrowed one from the front desk, but we just bought a mini kettle at Darty.) The rooftop bar was fun, but crowded, noisy, and service was slow. The restaurant was disappointing. It was the most mediocre meal we had in Toulouse, while also being the most expensive of our two-week stay. The food wasn't bad, but it was a bit bland and our appetizer (falafel) was overcooked and dry. The takeaway: Great hotel for a short stay, super location, friendly staff. Try the breakfast and visit the rooftop bar, but skip the hotel restaurant have dinner at one of the many excellent places within walking distance.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would request a room on a quiet floor if you want to sleep well, further away from the terrasse. The rooms were also very warm and the air conditioner didn’t seem to work so the air in the room was stale and dry. It would be tough in the hot days of summer to stay with this issue - which others have commented on. However, I would stay here again in cooler temps as it was within walking distance to most areas.

Rugs need to be changed or deep cleaned

Very noisy until 5am, not only around the hotel, also in the rooms around ours. Staff was hit or miss, some of them very nice, helpful and kind, some of them very standoffish and rude.

The staff were nice but no coffee maker in the regular rooms is a bust
