It's nice to woke up early, head to the mountain and just... wait for the sunrise. Very laid back tour, no rush. Matt knows the history so well, offered to take photos and knows how to give each joiners time to explore. If you're the kind of person who's into nature, history and culture, this tour is definitely for you.

Wonderful way to see these 3 temples - convenient, well organized and good value for money. I appreciate TripGuru communicating the day prior the guide’s name and contact details, as well as what time I will be picked up. My guide is Ms Kanchada (Happy), it is easy to communicate with her via WhatsApp. She is friendly, provided us with sufficient info about the temples so that we have context of what we’re seeing. Despite not seeing the sunrise (cloudy day) I had a fabulous time and would recommend this to visitors.

This tour is the best way to start your day in Chiang Mai! Seeing Wat Doi Suthep at sunrise was absolutely magical—we beat the crowds and witnessed the peaceful morning chanting ceremony. The views over the city from the summit as the sun came up were spectacular. Wat Pha Lat, the 'hidden temple,' was a beautiful, tranquil gem nestled in the jungle. It’s a true sanctuary! Highly recommend this half-day experience for an authentic, peaceful, and culturally rich start to your morning.

නූටයා නියත වශයෙන්ම හොඳම මාර්ගෝපදේශිකාව විය. විවිධ පන්සල් තුනක් ගවේෂණය කිරීමේදී ඇය අපව කිසි විටෙකත් ඉක්මන් කළේ නැත, ඉතා තොරතුරු සහිත වූ අතර, අතිශයින්ම කරුණාවන්ත විය. මම ඇයව වෙනත් සංචාරයකදී හමු වූ නමුත් ඇය මට ලොංගන් ටිකක් පීල් කිරීමට ඉදිරිපත් විය. ඔබ ඇය සමඟ සිටී නම් කරුණාකර ගෙදර ගෙන ඒමට හොඳම දේවල් මොනවාදැයි නිර්දේශ අසන්න. ඇය පුදුම සහගතයි. සංචාරය කලින් ආරම්භ වේ (අඳුරේ) නමුත් එය ඉතා අලංකාරයි. නූටයාට ඔබේ ඡායාරූප ගැනීමට ඉඩ දෙන්න — තනි කාන්තා සංචාරකයෙකුට සිටිය හැකි හොඳම මාර්ගෝපදේශිකාව ඇයයි.

The pre-dawn start was worth it. We experienced sai bat (giving alms) at Doi Suthep after seeing the sunrise there. The other 2 temples were peaceful, surorunded by beautiful lush greenies. We fed the biggest catfishes and koi fishes we’ve ever seen! Matt was an exceptional tour guide. Matt spoke English very well and understood our questions. Matt helped us take beautiful family photos. Thank you for the wonderful experience Matt!

Avi was an energetic and funny guide. He provided us great explanation on the history of the places we visited while teaching us about Buddhism. It was an enlightening journey to get a glimpse of Chiang Mai's temple scene. It was a very productive and memorable morning for me.

처음엔 도이수텝은 치앙마이 야경을 볼겸 야경투어를 보러갈려다 투어 시간상 야경과 일출을 함께 볼 수 있을것 같아 이 투어를 신청했는데, 생각보다 더 만족도가 매우 높은 시간이였습니다. 치앙마이에서의 멋진 사원에서 보는 일출 체험은 좋은 여행 추억으로 남을것 같아요. 여행 중 픽업 시간이 잘 지켜졌고 투어 내내 제임스 가이드의 자세한 여행지 설명과 친절한 배려에 감사했습니다.

Guide texted the night before to confirm pick up location and provide details on what to wear + schedule. He arrived early on day itself and sent a 'morning call' text. Road to Doi Suthep temple was quite windy; minivan needs to accelerate to climb the slopes and it was dark out so all you can see are blurry lights flashing at every turn. It felt like 15-20 mins long? Once reached the base of the temple, you have a choice to climb the 300+ stairs or take the 'cable car' (lift) which should alr be included in the package. Sunrise was beautiful even though there are many people around. Can choose to take part in the alms giving session or just observe. Guide offerred to take pics at every opportunity and also shared stories about the history. Next stop had a nice small waterfall, and felt very serene as well. At the final wat we saw cute bats in the cave! There were many chickens around too but here don't have to remove footwear. Journey back to hotel wasn't as scary as in the AM.
