This was a fantastic and exceptionally well-planned tour. Before we even arrived at the DZ, our guide, AJ, provided a brilliant and highly informative overview of Korean history, which gave us the perfect context for everything we saw. Going down into the Third Tunnel of Aggression was a truly unique and eye-opening experience that you have to see for yourself. Another fascinating highlight was learning about the local agriculture and seeing how the DMZ area produces its own rice, soybeans, and red ginseng. Stopping at the Unification Village was a great bonus—we loved being able to try and buy local treats like the red ginseng latte, soybean ice cream, and chocolate. Highly recommend AJ and this tour route!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The hike to Mt. Gamaksan and suspension bridge, the railroad track, the 3rd tunnel, DORA observatory, and the DMZ were all beautiful experience. The whole adventure was enjoyable, and made even more fulfilling because of the very passionate and bubbly tour guide AJ from Seoul City Tours. Her personality really resonated with both the young and old travelers. She speaks great English, she knows a lot of the DMZ history well, and even goes beyond her way and answers all questions asked of her. Specifically request for her so you can enjoy the DMZ tour!

We absolutely loved this tour. Our tour guide Dragon Kim was amazing explaining everything and making sure we were having a good time. Our bus driver was so patient too. It was eye opening learning the history. The tour is a must-do. English translation was excellent, the bus transport was comfortable and super clean. If you are going to the third tunnel just make sure you are fit as it's a bit of steep descent into the tunnel and ascent back up to the entrance was a marathon. Overall would recommend this tour to anyone.

Lily from Seoul City Tours was an amazing host! She has great energy and she was very accomodating. Me and my partner were very happy with the trip. It was informative and very interactive. Just make sure you plan your trip around sunny periods so you can get a good view of North Korea. We went on a cloudy/drizzly day and fog rolled in as we took our time at Dorasan observatory. Thankfully Lily planned the trip so we had enough time to view across the DMZ before the fog rolled in. For third infiltration tunnel, the trek up was quite a work out so make sure you put in your steps before you go on this trip so you don't hit a wall walking up the tunnel. I really loved this tour and I'd like to come back again!

hazel was an excellent and extremely thorough tour guide! she explained lots of about the history of north korea and the dmz, as well as explaining each activity throughly! the bus picked up at the exact time advertised and was quick and comfortable, we did 4 stops and they were all worth it, the best bit was the tunnel tour, as you get to go underground through the tunnels north korea dug! also, make sure to book with the q and a with a north korean defector, as it was really informative and interesting to hear stories from the person! overall, the tour is definitely worth your money and i would recommend booking with hazel if possible as she was very helpful!

Grace was an amazing tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history and stories behind the DMZ. I had an amazing experience on my DMZ tour with Shine! 🇰🇷✨ Shine was an excellent guide. He explained everything so clearly and made the entire journey both informative and entertaining. Even during the travel between the different stops, he kept the experience interesting by sharing lots of information about Korea, the DMZ, and the places we were visiting. He was also incredibly kind and attentive throughout the whole tour. He helped me take beautiful photos 📸 and made sure I understood all the precautions and rules I needed to follow, which made me feel very comfortable and safe throughout the experience. You can really tell that Shine cares about his guests and wants them to have the best possible experience. We really enjoyed our DMZ tour with Sadie. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to listen to, and gave us plenty of interesting background and stories throughout the day. The Third Infiltration Tunnel and Dora Observatory were definitely highlights, especially being able to look across into North Korea. We also really enjoyed the talk with the North Korean defector and hearing about her experiences firsthand. Sadie explained what to expect at each stop and made sure everyone was looked after without making the day feel rushed. It was a fascinating experience and we came away understanding much more about the DMZ and Korean history. We were very happy to have Sadie as our guide!

I really enjoyed my tour of the DMZ with Seoul City Tours! Katie was an amazing tour guide who explained everything in a very educational & professional way, but at the same exact time made the tour very fun & relatable, and she was very friendly & kind & wanted to get to know who you are, where you're from & what you're about. The tour itself was amazing too getting to see the inside of North Korea and seeing all of the different historical sites and Katie was very accommodating and patient in teaching me & everyone else in the group which town/landmark was which. I definitely would highly recommend booking this tour, and be sure to ask for the slightly extended version I did which included a stop at the Suspension Bridge. You will not he disappointed and you'll regret it if you don't!

Awesome experience. Beyond the busy Myeongdong and Lotte shopping district, this is an educational tour not to be missed if you are in Seoul. AJ from Seoul City Tour gave lengthy and clear explanations of each stop. With a pinch of humour in between. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Did the tour with the meet up with NK defector. Inspiring story.
