Booked and went on the same day, with easy entry via QR code. We only arrived at Healesville Santuary late afternoon but was still able to catch the 2nd bird show around 3 pm, which was a highlight! The place wasn’t too big so 2-3 hours is sufficient to see everything. Was happy to be able to see all the native wildlife including the koala, kangaroos, wallabies, emu, platypus, wombat and Tasmanian devil. Would have been great if they also have the Quokka, but overall happy that the ticket proceeds go to conservation efforts!

It’s a big, beautiful place dedicated to native Australian wildlife 🐨 unlike any zoo you’ll find elsewhere in the world. We visited in winter & while the freezing weather made it a bit tough, it was a memorable experience. Highlights included spotting adorable sleeping koalas, kangaroos roaming freely, & the surprisingly cute Tasmanian devils. We also loved the Wildlife Health Centre, an eye-opening and educational stop. Sadly, the wombats were hiding during our visit, but overall, it was a memorable day surrounded by Australia’s most iconic & unique creatures.

this is a beautiful place to visit for the whole family to get to know the native animals which could be found in Australia. the flight show was interesting and the animals were cared really well through positive reinforcement.
