It was an amazing experience. Glad that I booked this trip during winter on 20-Jan. Lake Chuzenji was amazing with the Mt Nantai as the backdrop. Kegon waterfall was mystical in winter snow. Toshogu Shrine lives up to its reputation as a UNESCO heritage site.

Amazing tour with a great guide! Our guide, Alex, was great and made the whole experience even better. I honestly loved every part of this tour, but the highlight for me was the first stop — Lake Chuzenji. 🥹 It’s the highest volcanic lake in Japan, and the views were absolutely stunning. The mountains surrounding the lake, topped with ice caps, were breathtaking!! and Mt. Nantai looked especially beautiful. 🏔️🩵

i joined the tour because I was travelling by myself and was happy that I booked it! Our guide, Arlene, did a great job providing historical information of the places we visited, and was engaging. She was also well organized and made sure everyone was informed about the tour plan the night before our trip. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend!

I am trying to decide on whether to do Nikko as a day trip from Tokyo or spend the night. I will be traveling with my three college age kids. I don't anticipate us getting a real early start, which is one of the reasons why I thought about staying overnight. As far as what we'd do, I am thinking the national park and temple complex, Shinkyo Bridge, Kanmaguchi Abyss, possibly Kegon Falls and/or Ryuzu Falls, and some short hikes. If staying overnight, what would be the best location? I was not finding lots of accommodation options for four people.

nikko was a surprise! didn't expect it to be that beautiful 😍Arlene by gogoday really helped us push through! she knows the place real well. She was really big of a help, whenever we needed a hand. She accompanies us from time to time and gives us proper allowance with every stop. the snowy areas was the cherry on top! overall it was a great tour will definitively book again 🫶🏻

We had a blast, thank you Ko. He was awesome and very proactive in getting everyone together and making sure everyone was on the bus. We took a tour to Nikko and it was amazing. The weather was cold but nice. Recommend taking a trip with Ko and our bus driver was very nice too. Beautiful historical places.

Ko was very meticulous and let us know on the timings accurately. Explained the area and itenary well. He will let you know in advance on where to get lunch and nearest toilet. The itinerary is good. it can get you to the most popular places in one day. if your crunch for time, great to do tour.

I am very satisfied with the Nikko day trip! I very much recommend it. Our guide KO was amazing, he was very kind and with great attention to detail. He was able to keep the group on time and he organised the whole trip very well. He always tries to accommodate our needs and interests and I could see he was giving his best! I think his time management was perfect. Thanks again to KO for making the trip so smooth and enjoyable. Amazing value for money!!

Things can feel a little hectic at the meeting point at first, with everyone trying to find their respective guides. But once we met our guide, KO, everything fell into place. He was super responsive, knowledgeable, and made sure no one got left behind throughout the trip. I also loved that he spoke both English and Mandarin — perfect for my mum and me! The itinerary was quite packed, so there were moments when we felt a bit rushed, but overall it was such a fun and seamless experience. I’d definitely recommend booking a day trip through Klook if you’re short on time but want to see as much as possible!
