great food tour, my husband and I enjoyed it a lot. great fun meeting new people. our guide was very knowledgeable and offered some really good food for us to tried. I highly recommended doing this one.

overall experience was good. our guide was entertaining and showed us around good places. all the food was tasty. rating is lower because we thought the value of the food was not good for the money we paid. and we didn't get to try more sake. otherwise, we would recommend the experience.

Our first food tour in Japan was quite amazing. We went to a tuna restaurant where they prepared tuna in four different ways. I didn't realize that you could smoke tuna and it would taste so good. I myself don't eat seafood that much, but we had a lot of seafood on the tour, including octopus balls. I found that I am now addicted to seafood in Japan. The only disappointing thing is I don't think the quality is the best in the rest of the world, so I might have to come back for another trip.

Benjamin was our guide. Definitely recommended this food tour. We had lots to eat and the restaurants were great. Our guide was friendly and answered all our questions. Want to book more tours with this company. Had lots of fun and our group was great!

10/10 recommend this food tour. Kei had selected a nice assortment of different foods unique to Japan. The tour is a great way to immerse yourself in the food culture if you aren’t familiar with it. He was incredibly helpful with places to try later in our stay.

in theory this should have been great but it was really nothing to write home about. Our guide was kind but didn’t really give us any insight into the food or culture. The cost didn’t justify the experience.

The guide was great, we had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I think where it fumbled a bit was not being able to pivot to cater to the group. we had a small group of 5 and three out of the five people were not big seafood fans (I had read reviews where it sounded like it wasn’t a seafood heavy tour) and we were taken to a sushi restaurant where most of the food was left on the table. I tried everything to be a good sport and we had two people who flat out refused to try anything seafood. I know it’s Japan and it’s to be expected but it wouldn’t have been nice to change it up a bit but I also know that can be hard when you contract with a certain restaurants.

Nicolas was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to a couple of great restaurants with lovely food. He got in touch before the tour to ask if we had any requirements and sorted those out efficiently. Highly recommended.
