June 2026: San Sebastián is a city that rewards those who travel with their stomach first and their itinerary second. This little pension sits right in the heart of the Old Town, mere steps from some of the finest pintxos bars in Europe. You could hardly ask for a better location. The room itself is simple and straightforward and clean, but that's not why you're here. You're here because every great meal, every late-night glass of txakoli, and every wandering stroll through the old streets begins just outside the front door. Despite being in the middle of the action, the sound-insulated balcony doors made for peaceful nights and excellent sleep. The self check-in was easy, the rules were clear, and the shared bathroom was always clean and well maintained. The host provided their list of recommendations for places to visit and foods. Comfortable, convenient, and excellent value. I'd happily stay here again on my next pilgrimage to San Sebastián's legendary food scene.

The proprietor was very nice and helpful. The room had 3 twin beds a d there's a shared bathroom. Nice amenities!

Excellent basic accommodations

Small room with army style beds. Location was good though.

This tidy little pensión is coveniently located in the middle of city center / old town. The room is comfortably appointed and features a window looking out over the busy walk street. The shared bathroom was large and clean at all times. There is a microwave and a small refrigerator available for leffovers. The host is communicative, kind and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay with Rony, our host. He looked after us and was very flexible with our requests ! The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Tony was able to suggest a great list of places to enjoy the local Pantxos and wines He made our stay very comfortable indeed.

had a reservation there was in the middle of old town san sabastian one shared bathroom for 3 rooms .... felt very unsafe

This is the first time at this Pensión and we received a lovely welcome from the owners. The place is in the very heart of the old town which is perfect. Even an Asian pintox right outside the door. The room was great as we had the private bathroom which is fabulous for Three of us to have our own space. Probably better for a couple and not a 10 year old sleeping in the bed but we managed. Nice place to hit the town for pintxos and a drink of Txakoli. One last thing if you’ve ever seen Bar Nestor where they queue for daily Tortilla it’s right next door. Get there early though.
