Perfectly located, close to main attractions. Staff was amazing and they allowed me to keep me luggage there while I went to an overnight trip to a different city.

The two gentlemen working the front desk were very helpful from the moment I checked in! I unfortunately did not get their names to shout them out personally. My room was ready for me early which was appreciated after a long travel day and one of the workers carried my luggage to my room. The room itself was nice and the air conditioning was wonderful. They left a bag of clean towels and water outside my room every day as well. They provided restaurant recommendations and offered to book taxis when I was going to the Harry Styles concert. If I’m ever back in Amsterdam, I will definitely be back!

Great stay! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The staff was very helpful. The bar is great - they have really good food and drinks and even happy hour.

Very old and unique, however it had steps everywhere and lack handicap accessibility. Staff was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Was very expensive.

Torin Hotel was genuinely the only thing that made Amsterdam bearable for us. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff were amazing. Royal suite was our home for two days, easily the highlight of the entire trip. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy Amsterdam itself at all, but staying at Torin Hotel made the experience much better.

If my heaven were a hotel, this would be it. Gorgeous historic building, sumptuous linens, super helpful and friendly desk attendants and bar/restaurant staff, and a terrific location for exploring. When I arrived, it was very cold and drizzling, but I was welcomed warmly and immediately taken up to my lovely room. The room included a huge deep tub, which felt amazing after a transcontinental flight, and while I soaked, the built-in towel warmer made the super-fluffy towels extra cozy. (Water pressure and heat was excellent, btw, which isn't always the case w/ historic properties.) Basics like the bed, room temp, lighting, WIFI, and clothing storage were all thoughtfully appointed and perfectly functioning. No noise issues. I appreciated the in-room espresso set up, and room service was quick and delicious for the one meal I had through the hotel restaurant. The bar area was comfy and chic -- velvet reading chairs and little cafe tables. I wished I'd had more time to enjoy it. Location felt very safe to use as a home base, which was important to me as a solo female traveler. In the evenings, walking back to the hotel was a treat, as you could glimpse stunning interiors inside the beautiful old townhomes all along the canal. A few blocks in one direction was a charming street full of small bistros and shops; the other direction led to the 'Nine Streets' area, which is full of shopping delights and cute restaurants. I would stay here again in a second. Fabulous.

Room 101 is too dark and uncomfortable The middle of the bathroom has as rise/step before going down again into tub. It is not specifically marked, I had a bad fall there, broke skin and bruised on various places. Staff didn’t seem very interested. The gentleman in check-in was very informative and helpful. Checkout was a hassle and help with the luggage was only offered once we were as good as done. Your place is a gem and could really sparkle with more love in it.

Beautiful hotel…quiet and with huge windows and a canal view. The staff were fantastic, ready to assist with any and all needs. Loved staying here.

I liked everything. Beautiful location, very avant-garde, elegant decor, comfortable room with up-to-date, charging capabilities, location excellent easy walk to many places. Festive atmosphere with restaurants and bars. Very high-end restaurants and bars very nearby. Would stay again if I visit Amsterdam.

The pros: location is perfect, facing a canal and next to charming Jordaan and nice restaurants. Also less than 20 min walk from the centraal station. Some restaurants like La Perla (pizza), de Benhalmel (nice upscale), Long Pura (Indonesian), Anne Frank House and boat rides are all a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast opens at 7 and there’s a server who takes the order and brings the food. Not a buffet. Keep this in mind if you have an early morning activity, train to catch etc. allow some time. Breakfast has a variety of items like eggs, crepes, cheese and pastries.
