AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
I can't understand how this place gets any good reviews. It *looks* like it should be a good place to stay, but it isn't - it's just lobby window-dressing. The walls and windows are impossibly thin.
Had a 10th-floor room overlooking Summit Drive and the "Historic Market Square." A band was playing in the square - which is about 500 feet away - and it was loud enough that it could have been in the room. On either side of our room and across the hall were families with school-age kids who were playing in the hall, shouting, bouncing around the walls, and those could have been in our room. To top it off, the bathroom is so small that there isn't enough room for 2 people to put their toiletries bags on the counter of the sink.
We asked the desk clerk - a rude, smirking little man - if there were quieter rooms available, and his response was basically ¯\_(ツ)_/¯: you can choose street noise or alleyway noise, but the next-door-room noise is always there.
After putting on brave faces for 3 hours after checking in, we gave up and checked out even though we lost the money we paid for the night. Better to be out several hundred dollars than put up with the total inconvenience.
