We rarely write reviews but feel compelled to share what we feel may have been the best accommodation in our entire lives (we’ve travelled to many, many countries). The staff at Wapa Di Ume are genuine, thoughtful, respectful, and kind to the core. One of us in the hospitality industry; if there were a place to train those for a delightful future in hospitality, I would look to Wapa di Ume as the source for the best education. Additionally, the grounds are like no other: full of surprises, immaculate, free of gimmicks, and layered beyond imagination! Kudos to the architects/builders!! The services like massage/tours/airport pick-ups were all top-notch!!!! And, the cuisine at their restaurant is beyond delicious, offering both beautiful representations of their local fare and some international options for those craving a taste back home. Additionally, if you are desiring a tour, an adjustment to your schedule, etc. they are readily eager to help!!! This team at Wapa deserves to be on the stage for a gold medal!! Our only complaint is directed at ourselves: ‘why didnt we choose to stay longer’. Team Wapa . . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! Marc and Chris

We are so happy that we chose Wapa di Ume for our stay in Ubud. Everything was perfect. The staff is the absolute best and they made all the difference. The resort is beautiful, spa was great and the breakfast and dinners were incredible and delicious! Can’t wait to go back. 100% recommend!

The room was clean and spacious. The staff were outstanding.

What a stellar experience! From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were welcomed with so much warmth and enthusiasm from every single staff member. I made a note that this trip was for my girlie's birthday, and they decorated our bed with rose petals, filled our bathtub w flowers, and even delivered a cake to our door while singing happy birthday. Denny, the manager, ensured everyone on the team was working in unison and now that we're at another resort in Uluwatu, we can't wait for our next trip back here at Wapa Di Ume in Ubud. Trust me, I rarely leave reviews- good or bad- but this was well worth it! This is the kind of resort that will shape your entire Bali experience.

Wonderful stay at Wapa di Uma Resort. It’s one of the most beautiful and serene places in Ubud. Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and everything was clean and well maintained. Special thanks to Dewa who was incredibly helpful and kind to arrange the last minute transport for me. Highly recommend!

Excellent service except for the one night they came beating on my door. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean. Moldy loungers so you didn’t want to lay on them. Gym was not available and my friend needed to work out; one of the main reasons we booked this hotel was it had a gym. No massages available. A lot of confusion surrounding the floating pool breakfast I ordered. I wouldn’t recommend doing that again. Staff at breakfast every morning were excellent and the food was delicious.

The room deluxe we got was wonderful.. mosquitoes here and there but the location is basically rice field/greenery Wonderful staff, very nice and accommodating..

It was a beautiful experience and I would go back.
