Our stay at Hotaku Hotel was great! Check in/out: Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at 1230am, over 3 hours later than expected. Check in was a breeze, and we were in our room within 5 minutes. Same with check out. The front desk was not manned, but we didn't have any issues. Room: Small but clean. Room had 2 beds, and I think a chair was converted to make a 3rd bed that was pushed up against one of the beds. It was meant to fit 4 people, and it only worked out because our kids are smaller. The beds comfortable, the bedding cozy, and even converted bed wasn't bad. The bathroom was clean. Toilet was in it's own room, which is so convenient when all of us needed to get ready. There was a private balcony, but unfortunately, we weren't able to use it since it rained during our stay. Amenities: The room was stocked with enough towels, toothbrushes and toothpastes, razors and hairbrushes. And they were available in the lobby if you needed more, which we didn't. They also had self luggage storage. Location: About 10-15 minutes walk to multiple stations, 2 blocks from a 7/11 and there may have been a small market nearby. We found it after check out, so we didn't get a chance to explore.

Clean and quiet staff is helpful

Excellent location, with helpful staff.

Staff were polite and helpful and check in and check out process was smooth. However our bathroom was not cleaned well with spots and stains on the wall and floor where the toilet was.

Very nice and clean

Since we are a large group, they put us to their accomodations home near the hotel. It was such a nice house with 3 floors, multiple rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed staying in that house.

A good stay. The room was clean but quite small for the whole family of 4, very quiet neighbourhood, staff were nice and helpful, and about a 10 minute walking distance to Akihabara Station. We also split our stay skipping one night to travel to Lake Kawaguchiko, and was able to leave our suitcases locked. Then we took them back after rechecking in. The common area on 2F includes a microwave, so we could buy ready-made food at the near supermarket and heat them up for our breakfast.

7/11 was really near by.. train station is a bit of a walk but wasnt too bad. I would stay here again. Rooms are clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Very easy check in and out. Good location.
