I cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the ambience, the welcome we received and the service was exceptional. A most relaxing and enjoyable experience in a house that is so steeped in history, but so comforrable. Can't wait to visit again. Highly recomnended. Thank you Robina and Val.

We visited this hotel back in September 2024 everyone was so welcoming the hotel is beautiful with breathtaking grounds and views! We decided to come back as a memory and we were fortunate enough to stay in the exact same room as last time which was very sentimental to us!!
The breakfast was delicious with such a huge choice of selection
The staff are lovely as well as the owners who are very welcoming and friendly!!
We hope to see you again soon thank you for a lovely stay!

Breakfast and service at breakfast was personal and first class. Plenty of secure parking. Wonderful property steeped in history. Lovely time.

Lovely characterful country house set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, but within easy reach of many other places of interest. Car needed to take full advantage of the location. Owners and staff very welcoming and bedroom comfortable (superior double room). Good breakfast served and a choice of pubs for evening meal within easy reach (by car)

Great traditional English B&B in the country close to main infrastructure. Staff are old school polite and friendly. Building has character and works well. If you like the old English. Country feel this is the place for you.

Staff were excellent and made us feel welcome.
Bedroom was large enough and bed was very comfortable.
History of the property was readily available, and most interesting.
Bathroom was rather small and could have benefitted from more shelving.
