Very small rooms, good location, better value elsewhere in peak seasons.

Lovely hotel, room was a nice size and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful

Cigarette smoke is strong everywhere. Although I had a non-smoking room, I could smell and feel smoke. I have allergy to cigarettes so I slept poorly. The room was tiny, but efficient. On site onsen is nice, with only one small "intimate" bath. Check-in was thorough, but slow compared to other Japanese properties.

I came during the Winter Festival, and it's conveniently close to Asahikawa Station and the ice sculpture street. However, I had trouble finding the place at first, and I even entered a different Hotel Route-Inn nearby by mistake. After finding the right place and entering the room, I found the luggage rack already open and in the middle of the narrow corridor so I had difficulty entering the room with my suitcase. Once I managed to squeeze myself and my luggage past that tight space I was finally able to enjoy what this hotel has to offer. The room is comfy, the amenities are plenty, the breakfast is tasty, and the staff even watched over my luggage after check-out so I could enjoy the festival some more. For those looking for family-friendly entertainment, this place is located close to the Round 1 free shuttle bus so you can even get your bowling and arcade fix while on vacation! Just make sure you reserve a big room if you're traveling with anybody else to make sure everybody fits.

Good and comfy stay

I liked the breakfast choices available , the excellent service of the staff during the breakfast service as well as the public bath. ( although it was not an onsen)

Location was great, ice machine on site, reasonable price for self serve laundry, window actually opens.

The staff were amazing and really made our stay at the hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and was close to food, shopping, and the central train station. It's maybe not a 5 star hotel but is definitely an excellent budget hotel.

Very convenient near to Jr station.staff are polite and helpful, surprise they give our daughter a pair of kids slipper and set of towel when they know we have young children with us checking in.clean hotel and will definitely come back next time
