Our stay at Meliá Phuket Mai Khao was truly exceptional. After a very long flight, we were warmly welcomed by Sareena at reception, who did everything possible to ensure we could relax as quickly as possible. Thanks to her efficient service, we were enjoying our private pool in less than an hour. We also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager, Luc, who greeted us with delicious Thai tea and refreshments.
The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The resort is beautifully designed, with elegant architecture, peaceful koi ponds, two fantastic swimming pools, a pristine beach, and excellent facilities. We especially loved the pool by the beach with direct access to the Gaia restaurant and bar.
I also used the gym every day. It was spotless, well air-conditioned, and stocked with towels, drinking water, fresh fruit, and showers. The staff even arrived early every morning—despite heavy tropical rain—to prepare the gym before opening, which perfectly reflected their outstanding dedication and hospitality.
The location is ideal, only 12 minutes from Phuket Airport, and convenient for exploring the island by car.
Our only minor criticism is that the villas could benefit from better soundproofing. We had a noisy neighbour on our first night, but the hotel staff resolved the issue quickly and professionally.
Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. We highly recommend Meliá Phuket Mai Khao and look forward to returning.
