We stayed in June (winter) so may have felt different due to the cold weather. I can imagine staying in the summer more opportunity to use all the facilities available including the outdoor pools, basketball courts, and outdoor spaces. The restaurant was not open on the days we were there (Sunday evening arrival, stayed Monday). Our purpose was to see the penguins so we didn't mind too much. Cowes is very close and has lots of supermarkets to pick up needed items if necessary. There is water dispenser on site. Each room is an individual cabin - it's quite comfortable and has most of what you need (basic utensils). There is lots of wildlife so lots of rodent droppings on the patio making it a bit less fun to hang out to eat outside. The pizza place is good and the washer and dryer were super handy and they give a few packs of starter detergent. It was cold but there is a heater and if you turn it all the way up it heated up the place well. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. They do try to sell you on the timeshares with free breakfast and a $50 voucher so just beware -they weren't super pushy about it or anything.

Just a 1 night stay but a very comfortable bed in a nice cabin.

Reception focused on selling. We had to come back to reception to ask for access code to use indoor pool , should have been explained at time of check in

Got the 3BR and was surprised at how well maintained and clean the place was. With quite a number of bad reviews, I brought my own heater and blankets just Incase. But didn't need to use it. Rented the pedal go kart for two days and my son loved it. And we had a walk and run around the trail. It was quick and easy to check in too. The playground is no longer there. Did not try the pool but was beautiful to see cows grazing in front at the field. Overall, had a really pleasant experience.

Fantastic location and property, amentites were all great, kids had a great time, room was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

Clean rooms, great outdoor facilities. Restaurant has great food. Only stayed one night.

We relaxed after a day out and about.
