Origin was unfortunately a disappointment from booking through to our stay. Despite their amazing reviews, they were unresponsive to multiple (5 messages and 3 calls) attempts to confirm an extra bed for my 3rd child. After finally engaging 24hrs before arrival to confirm this (at a cost - eventually waived), they forgot it anyway. They rectified it and apologised, however it was a lot of work for one ask. The villa is a hotel room at best (no real facilities a villa would have, beyond the pool - no kitchenette, plates, cutlery etc) and so much in the 'villa' broken (lights not working, bath drain not functioning, with no hot water). Location is ok - no view that makes you feel like you are on Ubud and not the prettiest spot on the street, some places to eat scattered around, close to the market. Positives: the 'villa' garden/pool is pretty, they can deliver breakfast to your room. Overall, wouldn't recommend for the price.

Staff were greet and having a private pool was nice. Room feeling its age. Biggest problem was the bathroom plumbing stunk. Toilet in particular was bad. Overall, it was ok but probably would choose somewhere else next time.

The staff was absolutely Amazing ! The location was perfect and the rooms were beautiful . The open air bathroom brings in bugs and heat so keeping the doors closed is A must . The staff here goes above and beyond and honestly would go back !

We had a brilliant time at Origin Ubud. The villas were conveniently located close to the restaurants and shops but slightly away from the business. The hotel staff and in particular Supini were very attentive. They stayed in touch regularly through WhatsApp to arrange for breakfast and also helped us organise day trips and transport. We felt very welcomed and looked after. The villa itself had plenty of space and it was great to have the pool. Minimal negatives to the stay, only downside was construction work at the back of our villa which could be heard whilst relaxing outside in the day. There was also a sewage odour from the bathroom which was at times unpleasant.

The room was so clean and bed was very comfortable. We loved using our own pool everyday and the place was very quite peaceful and relaxing. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing and brought us the breakfast everyday; night time snacks and a mosquito deterrent. Definetly would stay here again! Too gorgeous location as well.

The staff are outstanding and are there for your every need. The accommodations were private and gorgeous. It was an amazing stay. Thank you Origins!

Great place nice breakfast and good location

Excellent service crew especially Aditya who was very warm and friendly and took care of our group during our entire stay. It was convenient that massage can be ordered to our room and we could just WhatsApp the property to order our breakfast before the next morning. There are food stalls just opposite the property and really good for local fare. Whenever we made a request they were prompt to attend to our needs. Our 2 bedroom cabana pool unit was great for us. The bathroom sometimes smell of drainage but hotel added aromatherapy and it made the whole room smell great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Origin Ubud and will certainly return to stay again next time.

The villa was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the in-cabana massage is a must! Aditya was my host and he was so very helpful and friendly! 10/10!
