Тихий, уединенный район с красивой природой. Доступен бесплатный трансфер. Спокойная обстановка, вдали от города.

Отличный, гостеприимный и эффективный персонал. Предоставляется бесплатный трансфер. Аутентичный японский завтрак и потрясающие блюда с подробными объяснениями. Высококачественный сервис.

Чистота

Очень красивые и чистые территории и сады. Ухоженная собственность. Чистые номера постоянно отмечаются. Собственность больше, чем ожидалось, и хорошо поддерживается.

Атмосфера и удобства

Красивая территория с настоящими горячими источниками онсэн. Номера с небольшими садами и открытыми ваннами онсэн. Спокойный, традиционный японский рёкан. Роскошный и великолепный отель.

If you are staying here it is awesome. Might be tricky getting there and getting food if not B&B but the place is amazing. My only downside was in my dietary requirements but the food that i could eat was delicious

The staff was very friendly, and the food presentation was good. However, we were disappointed that the mist sauna didn’t work, and there was no cold pool available; all the pools were very hot, making it difficult to cool off. The menu is entirely Japanese with no substitutions or accommodations for dietary restrictions, and while tea is available, there is no coffee. Also, because of the remote location, the lack of nearby restaurants or convenience stores made me feel somewhat trapped. The property itself is dated and showing its age, with the restaurant and bar closed permanently. Although the library offers a pretty setting, it was unlit, and the heat was off, rendering it unusable.

The room was very big with a beautiful view of the forest. There was a nice wooden bath in the room and a very large communal bath. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, but there is only Japanese food and green tea, so if you want something else you should take it with you. All in all it was a wonderful ryokan experience at a very reasonable price.

The only way to get out here is by shuttle. This was not explained anywhere, and we were lucky we asked when we were at Kameoka station. It's a beautiful area, but the building itself is a little dated (80s).

I absolutely loved this ryokan. The pictures online do not do it justice; the property is even better in person. The staff were very welcoming. The meals were amazing. The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. My only recommendation is that the shuttle from the train station should have a sign with the name of the property.

Beautiful grounds, real hot springs onsen. We thought the ryokan dinner was included in the room rate but it was not. There was no restaurant in the hotel, although it looks like there used to be. Very beautiful and clean grounds, gardens. Our room had a small garden and outdoor onsen tub with water from the hot springs. The breakfast was fantastic, very authentic Japanese foods. Futon beds very comfortable.

This is a nice Traditional Japanese Ryokan. The service was excellent but be warned they do not speak English. Tatoos are not allowed in the communal bath ares either but some rooms have a private bath. Overall it was a good stay and a nice experience.

Syoenso Hozugawatei is a wonderful property and the facilities are as advertised. One thing I would note is to be sure of your travels plans as it is remote and difficult to get to by public transit, and the shuttle must be reserved in advance and only runs limited hours. Additionally, there is no food or bar as advertised on Expedia. Please make sure to make meal reservations in advance as they will not accommodate same day requests, and there is NO option for food within or around the hotel. The closest is a little over a mile walk to a Lawson's.
