What appeared to be a pleasant hotel disappointed. We were there for 4 nights and experienced the following.
Other people's rubbish left in the room
Cockroach in the room
Lack of instructions on using the facilities, some of which are only available in very small time windows
Breakfast at 23 Euros a person is very expensive, even the staff know it and we were advised to go to a local cafe.
They were refurbishing some of the rooms on floor 1, they certainly need it. The smell of paint and mastic was present in our room.
Final insult was no hot water on the morning we left, so unable to shower.
They have automatic check in so we had to find someone. Their response, as 4 of them were sat around chatting, was complete indifference through to we will let maintenance know. We were offered a shower in the gym but we were packed and ready to go off and catch our train.
It could be a great hotel but they seem to believe their own hype
