The worst hotel experience of our lives.We will never return to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and here is exactly why. It started before we even walked in: the valet parking team received us with zero courtesy or hospitality. At check-in we were promised a city view room and were placed in a room facing the hotel parking lot, not a "partial view," simply inaccurate information given at the desk.
The pool area was completely full, with no seating available anywhere, and the main pool was closed. That pushed every guest into one overcrowded space, creating real safety risk: children jumping and swimming right on top of adults and elderly guests with limited mobility. We witnessed several near-accidents. This is a capacity and safety management failure, not a minor inconvenience.
At dinner, every restaurant was full and the hotel offered no alternative. We ended the night eating a cold, poor-quality hot dog, and my wife became ill with indigestion afterward. For a resort at this price point, a guest being unable to get a decent meal is unacceptable. At check-out, the valet left my car parked with the door open in the rain. The entire interior was soaked. No explanation, no apology, no action taken.
The Hard Rock markets itself as a luxury experience and charges accordingly. What we received was negligence from arrival to departure: untrained staff, false information at check-in, an unsafe and overcrowded pool area, no food options, and damage to my vehicle on the way
