The room was stylish, clean and generally in good condition, with a comfortable bed and plenty of character. I knew in advance that it would be compact and would not have air-conditioning, but during the hot weather the lack of climate control did make the room uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very small but functional enough. The basketball hoop was a fun design touch, although the room was too cramped to use it properly — I would honestly have preferred air-conditioning. Check-in was combined with the bar and was not immediately obvious when I arrived at around 10pm. The staff member who eventually checked me in was not rude, but the initial welcome felt a little abrupt and not particularly friendly. Overall, the hotel looked great and was well located, but I found it less practical than similarly compact hotels such as ibis Budget or easyHotel. I probably would not stay again.

We arrived a bit early, but we were welcomed and had our rooms well before check in. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hôtel as it’s centrally located.

The staff was welcoming and the hotel is beautifullly maintained for an older hotel is. Great design. Good breakfast.

Very close to Little Tokyo and other places. Parking was close as well. Ideal location and very good price. Will stay again.

Staff very friendly, bed very comfortable but room so small could only get in on one side - so bit awkward. Kettle and tea/sugar in room but if to want instant coffee bring your own. Quirky features in the room - basketball hoop! And record player, with records - our record player did not work unfortunately. Bar area great with pool table and relaxed seating.

The room was comfy, the entire experience was warm and cozy and the vibe was definitely chill and relaxing, easy going. Staff was awesome, surrounded by plenty to do all within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were freaking awesome! Definitely making this my hotel to stay ate when in Germany .
