The room was clean, staff was kind, breakfast was very good.

The room was ok. Nice, clean, but no mini fridge and water in the room was expensive $8 per bottle).

Beautiful Hotel, lovely location and friendly staff! what more can you ask for?

The Fort Garry is like staying on a museum, such a lovely historic hotel with modern room upgrades. Love the L’Occitane bath and shower products, nice touch. Bedding is fluffy and crisp sheets, perfect pillows. Dined at both the Oval Room and Italian restaurant. Food and service amazing and cocktails and wine list impressive. Ten Spa, where to begin? Luxury and papering at its finest. Go for the full Hammam, it’s worth it.

Love: - Truly a beautiful hotel - Staff is fantastic - Oval Room food is really fantastic overall - Great value for the price - Illy coffee machine near the main lobby is a nice touch — would be even better if it was complimentary until noon! Don’t love: - On both of my visits, all maintenance work seems to run through the main grand lobby. Surely there’s a better way to move workers and materials without constant exposure to guests. - I pre-arranged delivery of their signature cake to my room. It never came. Not a huge deal — I took it home — but that shouldn’t happen. - My bed was lopsided and uncomfortable. - Hallways on most floors feel like prison corridors. Grey and drab — a jarring contrast to the beautiful main floor and mezzanine. - The rooms could use a refresh. They’re in good condition but there’s zero colour or personality. I noticed the same thing on my visit several years ago.
