It’s a truly beautiful hotel with wonderful hospitable staff. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The whole place smelled nice. The beds were comfortable. Firm, but not too firm. Full size Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom. The only problems were that there were ants in the bathroom (it’s Louisiana, bugs are a thing there). They also don’t have laundry machines or a laundry service available. I got soaked in the rain and because the airline delayed my luggage all I had was what I was wearing. So I had to dry my clothes and shoes with the hair dryer. Thankfully they had a hair dryer.
They were able to accommodate my request for a room near an elevator because I’m disabled and we were able to get an early check in. I would stay here again.
