Great location, not too far drive from downtown eateries and a beautiful view of the lake and bay.

This was our 1st time staying here and it was amazing we loved it and we will definitely be staying on our next visit to Monterey

Room was very nice w full wonderful patio leading to the pool and hot tub that were all very nice. We had a wonderful time very close proximity to the beach and also to the Dennis the Menace Park. A nice walk on the beach to the Wharf also.

I didn't know that there was no AC in the room so that was a bit of a shock but we didn't need it since there was a fan and it was actually pretty cool. We loved the heated pool, hot tub and fire pits. The lit up tree in the courtyard added to the ambience. My son was super excited that housekeeping folded and set up his stuffies on the bed. I wish there were more food options around us but fisherman's wharf was just a short drive away with lot more options. The beach and playground were short walks away. We had a corner room upstairs so even though we heard the traffic sometimes, we weren't bothered by other guests as some of the other rooms may have. We probably had the best view with the lake in front and away from the pool courtyard. We took a Lyft to the aquarium and took the free trolley back. So glad we didn't drive into town as it was busy and parking would have been expensive. Location was not as close to the aquarium as we thought. We enjoyed our stay but probably would have preferred to be closer but this was more affordable.

Loved our stay at Monterey Bay Lodge! The location is absolutely amazing, and the room was beautiful with a really nice romantic vibe. The only minor thing was the lack of AC, which felt a bit surprising at first, but honestly, with the local weather, it wasn't a big deal at all. Overall, a wonderful place for a getaway. Great atmosphere, fantastic location, and a super pleasant stay. Would definitely come back!

Was a great stay. Would highly recommend. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Parking was a bit tight, but overall good. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean and nice. Great location to Fisherman's Wharf and to catch the trolly to Cannery Row or the Aquarium. Highly recommend.

Very expensive for the quality
