Very disappointed with the service of the pool. There are not enough lounge chairs to cater for the amount of people in the hotel. Not good enough. A lot of guests very unhapppy. The pool staff were very helpful although not enough staff to cater to everyone. They are overworked. Need more staff. We had 2 mornings where staff knocked on our door to clean the room. We are on holidays and were asleep at 8am & 8.30am, Not appreciated. We had no hot water for nearly 2 days and told to shower at the pool. We were expecting a luxury stay for the price we paid. Very disappointed. We will never stay again.

Firstly Staff are fantastic and service 100% BUT…… Sadly it’s Lost some of its shine and putting its 5* rating at risk ? - getting tired and needs maintenance and money spent on it. Entrance and front of hotel near road looks terrible. Grey Tile at front of pool bar missing Witnessed loose mosaic Tiles in pool every day - and pool tiles around edge need good cleaning. Some Decking at back of pool needs maintenance on as protruding up and needs re-screwing/ replacing Pool Umbrellas need repairing properly or replacing - pool boys spend all day every day having to fix Also need new heavier parasol bases as not good that umbrellas have to come down in slight breeze but scorching sun ! Breakfast needs more gluten free options- no cereal etc just plain muffin and not nice bread. Day before leaving advised they have GF croissant and pain au chocolate and offered GF sourdough toast - this should be on display or on a notice board at GF area of breakfast buffet. Restaurant food not good and had to be returned as cold food, cold plates and fish and steak inedible. Bedroom are tired and have not been changed since 2015

We had a fantastic stay here as a couple and I would definitely come back with the kids in the future. Surprising it was too busy when we travelled here in June, there was always somewhere to sit around the pool. The entrance to the hotel is abandoned and seems like a bit of a let down on arrival but once you’re past that point it’s very lovely. I have stayed at many places around Bali including 5 star. I thought for the price it was a winner compared to paying double at most other places. Breakfast was great, heaps to choose from and they offer cafe style coffee which is a nice touch considering there was no extra cost. We went with pool view room and it was nice size with a lovely balcony and bath. Happy hour is 12pm till 6 which is a fair bit of time and certainly helps bring those prices down. Couldn’t really find any faults at this place apart from entrance which is so minor.

Stunning hotel with every luxury. The breakfast buffet will blow you away.

Fourth stay there. Room was great as was breakfast, which cater for me being gluten free. This is the first time that there has been a large number of kids. Staff need to approach children and tell them when to stop jumping on furniture in the foyer or playing soccer at 10.30pm. Pool chairs were also been held with no one on them for 3 hours. The place was packed and unless you had a chair by 7.30am, you weren’t getting one,

Disappointing stay. Not the 5-star experience we expected. Check-in is 3pm, but our room wasn’t ready until after 3:30pm. I spoke to another guest who told me their room wasn’t ready until after 5pm. The hotel was significantly understaffed and struggled to cope when operating at full capacity. I booked a room advertised having a ‘City View’, however the view consisted of the roof of the hotel lobby atrium and a hotel wall. I don’t believe this reasonably matches the description of a city view (see photos). The Hotel said this was a city view and there were no other rooms to move us to. The pool area was disappointing. With approximately 60 sun loungers for a hotel with more than 300 rooms, you needed to reserve lounges from around 7am. If you arrived later, there was little chance of finding a lounge and relaxing by the pool. We waited more than 30 mins for two drinks to be delivered to our pool loungers, and the front desk had run out of local maps for guests. Only one elevator was operating during our entire stay, which resulted in delays getting to and from rooms. Even the complimentary welcome popsicle wasn’t offered at check-in. I had to ask for it after we checked in. While the staff were polite and friendly, they appeared to be doing their best under difficult circumstances. The issues appeared to stem more from staffing levels. Overall, the hotel left a terrible impression and was not a relaxing resort experience.

Nice hotel. Nice facilities. Nice location. Nice staff. A little bit annoying they turn the spa off at 6pm.
