Basic, clean apartment with car parking walking distance to major hospitals & new city loop train station. Friendly staff & easy check in. No frills, good value for money.

The stove extraction fan was not working. ( yes I turned on the isolation switch) it was also filthy. Only one toilet roll. No bath at or hand towels supplied. I had to hunt down cleaner to get them. Less the 20 cms from end of bed to wall. Only one large saucepan. No can opener. I found this unit adequate only. I will not stay here again and won’t be recommending it.

Excellent location for access to Royal Melbourne Hospital. Secure parking. Convenient location and short walk to restaurants, supermarkets, convenience store.

Location perfect, apartment ok, dishwasher didn’t work and car park is extremely tight, I f you have a big car park elsewhere.

Having stayed here previously 5-6 years ago, the cleanliness of the rooms, hallways, lobby and even lifts has certainly deteriorated

I booked this room for my mother and sister who were visiting a sick child at the Royal Children’s Hospital. When I checked in I had the overall impression of ‘dirty’. The common corridor was not vacuumed. There were crumbs on the dining room table, sofa pillows felt greasy, balcony was dusty and unusable and the air did not smell fresh. After two hours I checked out. I couldn’t put my relatives in this room. I obtained a nice modern, clean room at the Larwill Studio, adjacent to the hospital, for $35 extra. Definitely learned my lesson for next time.

Mean - amenities were cheap and old. Nothing spent on it in a while. Unit sleeps four but only two mugs, and towel rail barely held two towels if that. pretty dirty - while the kitchen, bathroom and bedding were clean, the rest of our apartment was dirty. Hand marks on the glass, hard floors dirty, skirting boards covered in dust, corridors hadn't been cleaned in many weeks. Walls in entry way were covered in scuffs marks up and down. Visiting the hospital for a scan, we asked if we could leave our car in the car park till ten thirty. Yes, they said, check your keys out and come back and we'll let you get your car out. Arriving back at ten thirty to leave, no one in the office, none of the phone numbers got answered, we were left waiting for someone to turn up but no one did. Finally a resident of the building opened up the garage door for us to get our car out. Understandably reluctant. There were notices telling the guests what they were not allowed to do. Whole place was dirty, shabby, mean and neglected. Thought the staff were okay until they let us down. There is no one in the office during the day and no way of getting in touch. Won't be going back there - rather sleep in the park...

The rooms were clean and spacious. Well equipped in the kitchen.

Room was not Real clean but it was the balcony that was very dirty thick cobwebs I don't think it has been cleaned for a very long time
