I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam-Schiphol by IHG for 2 nights in June 2026. The hotel is well-maintained and is serviced by staff with great customer service. I arrived in Amsterdam from Berlin on an early-morning flight, exhausted. Tina, working at the front desk, with her manager's approval, gave me a free early check-in because I am a long-standing IHG member, and it was my birthday that week. I received a drink voucher for declining housekeeping services during my stay, as part of the hotel's sustainability efforts. The rooms were well-cleaned and soundproof; I barely heard anything happening outside the room, despite some ongoing construction nearby. The rooms came with a free continental breakfast each day, and it was filling. The hotel is a quick 7-10-minute walk from the train station and is in a safe neighbourhood. The water pressure in the shower is perfect, and the bed is comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection in both the room and the lobby area is great. The hotel also offers the option to purchase discounted tickets online to different tourist attractions. I used the website to get a deal for a canal ride. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to travel around Amsterdam on a budget but still seeking comfort and great quality.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn Express location. About a 15 minute walk to Hoofddorp city center. Plenty of stores to shop, vendors outside and lots of places to eat. Staff is super helpful and it’s only 10 minute walk to the Hoofddorp train station stop. I would definitely stay there if I visit Amsterdam again. Oh it’s only one stop from the airport. Breakfast was great

Very clean room, staff were friendly and helpful. We like the complimentary drink (water) set up at the reception. Breakfast was ok.
