The hotel is lovely Staff are friendly and welcoming Loved the bbq and disco on Friday night

This is the worse Novotel I've ever stayed at. The location was in a bad area with a lot of trash outside of the parking lot. There are insects everywhere in the hotel and flies in the room. We were in floor 1 room 123. When we first checked our room, we noticed the red sheet had dead bugs in it and there were makeup stains. We told check in people and they sent up someone to change the sheets but while he was changing it he kept complaining that he put new sheets initially and he didn't know what we were complaining aboutz The plumbing smelled horribly in our bathroom with brown water coming up the toilet. There was mold in the shampoo and conditioner holder and our bed sheets were never changed. We stayed there for 10 days. We were a group of 11 with 4 reserved rooms. The staff was rude and unhelpful. One nighty family and I used the long dining table by the bar because we had ordered pizza. The employee working the bar area started screaming at us that he just polished the table. We were shocked and told him that we didn't know we couldn't use the table. There were other guests using the small tables behind us. He started slamming plates in the bar area and slamming drawers. We told him that he was rude. We tried to complain to another employee and his response was "you should have asked if you could use the table." We told him that there were better ways to speak to guests of the hotel, you shouldn't speak to us like we are children you are reprimanding.

Close to airport

We liked the location as it’s pretty easy to get into the center as the bus or tram are not far from hotel at all. Great amenities here. Loved the lounge and bar area.

This hotel is below average for me, considering it is a 4* and a recognised brand. The deco needs updating, together with upholstery which is old and dirty. Staff is very attentive but amenities, pool, gym and outdoor space fall below par. If you happen o be there at weekends you also have to pay for umbrellas even if you are a guest and it is a steep eur 26 per person and the pool is not even close to the lounges area. Food is terrible and breakfast is quite disappointing with scrambled eggs made from liquid eggs in cartons. We asked the staff and they confirmed. Tastes fake. Overall, I certainly would not book there again. Disappointing

We enjoyed our stay!

This hotel was clean and acceptable however some of the front desk staff were abrupt and a little off-putting. The restaurant was booked for private events. The restaurant suggested ordering from I’m the pool bar however after waiting for 30 minutes it appeared no one was working in that area so we had to figure something else out. There isn’t any restaurants close by.

Breakfast was enjoyable but limited the same happens with the restaurant and is not opened all the time considering it is in the hotel. Airport shuttle had to be reserved there is no schedule and you have to pay a fee. My room key worked every other day no matter where I stored it. My friend had a separate room and the same thing happened with her key. Most of the staff were friendly, except for two older guys at the bar, they were rude. It is 5 minutes to the airport and if you have a rental to keep it in a secure place be ready to pay 20 euros per day. There is free parking but is very limited.

Booked for airport transfer. We were too early. Rough neoghborhood but excellent pizza walkable - II something.
