We had a really enjoyable stay overall. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and it was clear that cleanliness is taken seriously. Staff were constantly cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout the day, which made the whole resort feel very well cared for.
The staff were generally very helpful, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay.
Some areas are a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The gym, for example, feels quite old compared to other facilities on site.
The food was perfectly fine, with plenty of choice available. As a family, however, we weren’t particularly excited by the main buffet. One slight disappointment was that much of the food seemed aimed at international tastes rather than offering more local Egyptian cuisine. When travelling abroad, we personally enjoy experiencing the local food culture, so it would have been nice to see more authentic Egyptian dishes available.
There are also two à la carte restaurants that guests can book once as part of the all-inclusive package, with additional visits available at an extra cost. The beach bar is a nice alternative to the main buffet, particularly because some of the food is cooked fresh to order, including items such as burgers, pizza, chicken shish, and kofta.
One tip for future guests: it’s worth comparing excursion prices before booking. The Old Market is directly opposite the hotel, and we found that some of the same excursions were available locally for significantly less
