This was my 4th stay at Urbano and my least enjoyable. I was extremely upset that the gym had no power and therefore only the treadmill half worked on 2 of my 8 days. The two other powered machines did not work. To top it off my wife’s cousin overhead two housekeepers saying disparaging things about my wife. I wasn’t told this until I got back to America. We often interacted with these staffers on our previous visits and always looked forward to seeing them and other staffers at the Urbano. As always I loved the vibrant neighborhood with the exception of the shades vendors, but I have to respect their hustle. We are still pondering whether to stay here in January 2027.

The hotel staff was so helpful in arranging my airport pick up and return, which was complimentary, and which I really appreciated. The room was exactly how it was described and shown online. Actually, when I arrived, there was a lizard in my bathroom, and one of the hotel staff got it out immediately. And, the same guy kept an eye on me my whole stay. On my first day, I was returning to the hotel from the supermarket in the mall just a bit down Oxford Street. People tried to show me their art, goods, etc. Two guys were a bit aggressive in their approach, and my guy from the hotel saw things and came over to me to make sure I was all good. I never felt in danger in Accra, but it was nice to know that the hotel staff was really on top of their guests. The only thing that was not so great was that the AC in my room was really, really weak. I don't know if it was room-specific, but when the staff set it to 16 upon arrival, it never really got below 20. I ended up buying a fan for the room- which was great, and I left there when I checked-out for someone else to enjoy. That said, I felt really cared for and would highly recommend this hotel for its staff and its convenience to tours, sights, bars, and restaurants- Buka and Pinocchio were both great!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel provided excellent service, and the staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Thank you for making my experience enjoyable.

The staff is so kind and well organized the room

Absolutely loved my stay at Urbano. I was here for two weeks and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, the food is good, the ameneties are great, the hotel is clean. The only thing I would note is that it is on the Oxford street which can be busy and noisy but overall its a great location and I had a great experience. I will definitly be booking here again.

Stayed at Urbano Hotel recently and honestly had a really good experience. The hotel has a fresh vibe to it and you can feel that the new management is trying to take the place to another level. My room was super comfortable, everything was clean, and the breakfast was actually really nice. Staff was very welcoming and helpfull. For the price, it was definitely worth it and I’d happily stay there again next time I’m in Accra.

My stay was to be 2 days . Air condition didn't work in the first room after one hour maintenance showed up. After 30 minutes it stopped working. Moved to another room which was on the front of the hotel and the traffic was horrendous, the noise was crazy and I was not able to sleep I left early and checked out the day early. No refund was given. Management called and offered me one free night that would expire in 90 days. I consider that the one day that I already paid for. Management wasn't giving me anything for my inconvenience just honoring the one night I already paid for. Ridiculous 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I didn't have enough time to explore the hotel. I was there for four hours to connect a flight. I did enjoy my lunch which was so delicious. I hope to spend a good time on my next visit.
