I had an excellent two week stay at Hibiscus Cottage!! The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating and the breakfast each morning was a huge plus. I cannot wait to stay here again next time I visit Ubud!

Friendly staff

The hibiscus is really central. Two minute walk for lattes in the morning, great restaurant really close. Staff are really kind, really helpful, scooter hire. The look after you. Birds are chirping, the doors and verandahs are absolutely beautiful x the rooms are massive. Balun and his staff are kind lovely people.

Small family run place amongst the rice fields but only 7 minute walk to the main street with all the action . 15 minute walk to the palace . They had mopeds for rent at the property which was convenient and well priced . My room was massive . Traditional property with very high ceiling so it felt cooler than outside. Room had an aircon but I only used the ceiling fan . Whole property felt like a temple. Clean rooms. Very quiet. I didn’t have any mosquito problems. Not sure if breakfast changed but it was a very basic breakfast prepared to order. Maybe because I was there in the off season. Fantastic views Please keep in mind that you have to walk about 4 minutes to the property on a narrow path that only scooters can ride on . No taxis. I had a small and large suitcase . Wasn’t a big issue for me but could be for older people . I would recommend property to send a WhatsApp number on day of arrival to offer helping with luggage from the street and also offer on the day of departure. Other than that , no issues. Well priced clean property very close to everything

Possibly the finest hotel experience I ever had and I've had a lot. Every bit of this property is stunning and picturesque. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the roof top breakfast every morning. The rooms are very clean well maintained. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything in Ubud but tucked away in quiet serenity. I would most definitely return again without hesitation.

Clean room. Very close to many points of interest. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Definitely worth a stay to experience living in a Balinese house.

Great property and great host. The only thing that was lacking was the poor internet connection and lighting in the wash basin.

the only problem i had was trying to carry my luggage because to the cottages since vehicles cant go there.EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING

Loved this place. Rooftop breakfast was homemade and amazing. Staff were friendly. Whole place is quiet and has a temple chill feel about it. Cannot recommend it highly enough. It's off the street a bit so don't bring heavy luggage.

Great location, beautiful place, comfortable, relaxing and very welcoming. Away from the main road but still within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great breakfast and view from the top floor.
