Quaint hotel with simple, nice rooms. My room had a big window with good daylight. The school across the street can be noisy, but managable with closed window and AC. Nice staff and cozy lobby with enough space to work. Good amenities. Pleaae note, wifi is only available in lobby.

Wonderful Property with a great elevator in the heart of Alexandria!

The room is clean, the location is perfect. You can do a lot off things around. The service is very bad, not like hotel they take 50 pounds for 1 spoon Nescafé, they don’t clean up the room etc. if you need no service good sta there

Staff hardly spoke English. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom needed some upgrade. The shower had molds. The curtain had mold. The mirrors were very old to the point of faded away. No breakfast. No lobby. Check in area is like someone’s living room. Many pictures on hotels.com are misleading. But the location was good. Walkable to catacomb, coniche the citadel, st mark’s and Roman theater.

Perfect accomidations. Lovely staff. Right in the heart of Egypt's second biggest city. Perfect!

Elevator didn’t work at all. Area was poorly lit and filthy. Across from noisy school. Staff was sullen and a bit cold and unwelcoming.

Stayed in an economy single. Not much space, dated, but sufficiently clean, bed was comfortable, hot water worked well. I would put it on par with a private room at a hostel. Not much in the immediate area, but also not that far from a lot of stuff. There’s a little shop almost directly across the street for snacks and water, guy was fair, not trying to scam you (about 10 EGP for a 1.5L water). I walked from the train station, and then to all the major tourist sites.

I booked an economy room for $12 per night. You get what you pay for. Paint was peeling off the wall. The room was moist. The walls where dirty. The headboard was unclean. The shower has a fabric curtain which soaks with water when you shower. The floor is not particularly clean. They have better rooms. Book that instead. I mistakenly booked an economy room and it was not hygienic.
