Pretty minimal in terms of amenities. Staffs are not very professional. Was late to provide fresh bedsheets.

Hotel is well situated but in total state of disrepair. Rooms are tiny , beds are ridden with bugs and no air con. Breakfast is a waste of time as you are allocated one croissant and one coffee. Staff are nice but seem to have been forced to work there. It’s fine for single men but I would not put a woman or child here. It does the job like a place to sleep overnight.

Stay away from this hotel. Our stay was terrible from start to finish. The elevator was out of service (8 floors). The Wi-Fi wasn't working either. The room was incredibly small. The bathroom was ridiculous—the toilet door had only about 40 cm of space, so you had to turn sideways just to get in. There wasn't enough room to sit on the toilet properly because the wall was directly in front of you, so you had to sit sideways. The shower ceiling had holes where you could see light coming through, the shower light wasn't working, and there was no hot water. The hotel had no air conditioning even during hot weather. We asked for a fan, but they told us they didn't have any and that we should buy one ourselves, which we ended up doing. The TV had no channels, and the built-in wardrobe was blocked and wouldn't open. Housekeeping entered our room even though we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door while we were sleeping. Breakfast was extremely poor: one jam, two slices of toast, and you had to ask for cheese or one egg. I even asked for a glass of cold water and was told they didn't have any. They also took leftover croissants from the next table and put them aside for the next guests. On our last day, we asked them to store our luggage, but they refused unless we paid. No private room to store them though, just at the main entrance where anyone could come in. Overall, this hotel doesn't meet even the most basic standards of comfort or service. Toilet wouldn’t flush, got stuck on elevator, no air conditioning and very hot, no refrigerator no coffee or hot water, no microwave, small TV, charged for every little thing, including keeping our suitcases. Very very noisy at all hours. Hard mattress. Avoid.

Bitten by bed bugs, no fan in the room and boiling hot.

My family and I (wife, son, and I) booked Hotel Picardy because of its location and closeness to Gare du Nord. The hotel has no AC and no fan. When we checked in at 10 pm, the temperature inside the building was already very high while we waited through the check-in process. We finally got our keys, went up to the fifth floor, and the room was extremely hot. We had to sleep with all the windows open, and between the noise from outside, the light coming in, and the heat, it was unbearable — we couldn’t sleep at all. We ended up changing hotels and leaving early, without a reimbursement, since we knew that was the hotel’s policy. Please don’t stay here during summer, and be aware of any heat waves or orange alerts before booking.

Bed bugs

It was a central location to navigate ourselves across Paris ,via metro and buses and opposite EuroTunnel Gare du Nord. Basic clean accomodation,managed without additional 10 euro charges for additional towels and room clean. Breakfast buffet yes basic ,but considering it was free ok. Sky line photos taken from room.
