There is a severe staff shortage at this hotel. Since my flight was at 8:00 AM, I wanted to check out at 4:00 AM, but they informed me that no staff would be available before Fajr prayer (before 5:00 AM). The room given to us for the first two days was extremely small—there wasn't even enough space to stand after getting off the bed. The shower area was so cramped you couldn't move your arms, the closet door was broken, and water from the bathroom sink overflowed onto the entire floor. After I complained, they moved us to a new room on our last day, but that room's toilet flush was broken as well (though they fixed it after being notified). Since the hotel is located on a hill, going up and down is quite difficult. While all neighboring hotels provide timely electric cart services, this hotel's cart service is highly irregular—especially during prayer times, when carts are hardly available. Overall, the service and management are terrible. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

Pretty nice

The property is in terrible condition. My family and I had to run around at 2:00 after a long journey to find other accommodations. Pictures are old and not reflective of the property. There is mold in the bathrooms and carpets are disgusting and the rooms have a bad smell.

Lift was broken and my room was at 10th floor very horrible experience. Need compensation Move in and out from 10 th floor to down and going up very tiring. Pls compensate

It was the most terrible experience of our life. We paid more than $700 /night but the place was not even 1* The room was small, ants crawling and small washroom with no towels. We are both over 65 and hotel was on a mountain. We want a full REFUND.

Extremely disgusting place to stay... We booked a non-smoking room but they put us in a smoking room. I couldn't breathe and felt like I was suffocating in the tiniest hotel room... I did complain, but they said they had no other room available.. The bathroom had a strong smell of a toilet leak... It was so gross and they had an open shower with just a curtain slmost touching the dirty toilet. Never ever stay here!!!! The staff was also terrible and did not speak English..or pretended to.

Having stayed here previously, I had certain expectations based on earlier experiences. On this occasion, the reception service felt less efficient, and the rooms did not appear to have been updated. I share this feedback constructively and in the hope of seeing continued improvement.

I had a great stay at Elaf Ajyad Hotel. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The reception staff were very welcoming and professional, especially Anas,Turki and Abdullah, who were outstanding and always happy to help with anything.The kitchen workers were also very kind and helpful, and the room cleaning service was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Makkah as it’s very close and a buggy from the hotel to take them up and down.

There was no support
