The hotel has a beautiful, regal feel when you walk in, and the property itself gives a strong first impression. The room was also comfortable, with a very good bed and a convenient location.
However, the overall customer service experience did not match the standard of the hotel’s appearance. The front desk staff we encountered were not particularly warm or welcoming, and at one point we walked directly in front of the reception desk without any acknowledgment from the staff member present.
When we arrived in our room, there was no hand soap provided, despite the room having supposedly been through a final inspection. On our first morning, we were also woken up very early—around 6am—by loud voices and vacuuming in the hallway outside our room, which was disruptive.
Service in other areas also felt inconsistent. While one valet attendant we interacted with at check-in was friendly and helpful, the overall valet and checkout experience was less welcoming. At checkout, the staff member assisting us was not particularly warm, and no assistance with luggage was offered.
Overall, the hotel itself is attractive and well located, and the rooms are comfortable. However, the level of customer service and attention to guest experience needs improvement to match the property’s standard.
