Great place

Loved everything about our stay. Good location, nice pool, helpful staff, clean, good coffee at restaurant!

The parking does not pay for parking

Paid extra for corner king river view. Got to check in and was told our room tv was not working. They said they could transfer us to new room in morning. We went from 14th floor river view to 9th floor alley view because it was the only room. Not sure why they couldn't replace or repair the original tv. I was told I would get a $50 credit for the first night and at checkout they waived one night resort fee. Still waiting on $50 credit but one night resort fee was waived. We enjoyed the hotel, and it is nice. I am disappointed in the fact that I paid extra for the view and was stuck for 2 nights with views of the alley. However, I would stay here again and give them another chance. Property was very clean and maintained and staff was friendly. Only staff issue was upon check in. We used valet and a bell hop was supposed to take our cart to our room. I turned around and the cart was sitting there and he wasn't to be found. I have no issue with taking my own luggage up as I prefer it. But, I was told guests cannot take the carts up that it must be a bell hop. For me, it was no issue. I took the cart to the room and unloaded at my pace and brought it back down. He lost the tip, not me. But overall for our first time at this hotel, it was a decent experience. As I said, I would give them another chance for sure.

Bar does not enough staff or seating.

Stayed here pre-cruise due to convenient location. Was treated so well by front desk staff after a long week prior to vacation. They checked me into an upgraded room early, and gave me hints for where to sight-see. After a refreshing nap and shower, the valets gave me directions to walk to my evening excursion. When I checked out the next morning, same staff at the Front Desk, and Miss Joy was exceptional!! So great, that while on my cruise, I cancelled my post-cruise reservation at another (cheaper) hotel and came back to Le Meridian for a few more nights! I will definitely be looking to stay here again if I return to New Orleans. The rooms I was in were clean, furnished nicely, had great views, and were large and comfortable. I was able to avail myself of the bar in the lobby and had excellent service and conversation with the bartender while I had an amazing lunch and cocktails between excursions in the city on Monday afternoon. Checking out was a breeze on both final days of my trip. Complementary breakfast coupon provided an excellent and quick breakfast prior to my flight. 100% recommend staying here!

When we arrived to the hotel it was literally right across from the Caesar’s Casino, everything was literally walking distance maybe like a 6 min walk to Canal street so like 10 mins to Bourbon. Only downfall was that the pool is not on the rooftop it’s located on the 4th floor and this location you have to valet park which will just be $52 for a car and $57 for suv. Other than that the staff was amazing.

Hotel is in a great location! Staff were Amazing!!! Tyisha and Ms Joy made us feel at home. The rooms were good size, spacious and the drinks at the bar were delicious! Thanks to Paul and Brandon!! Great stay!!
