I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Indigo Detroit Downtown.
Not only was I charged for my stay despite the issues I encountered, but the overall condition of the hotel did not meet reasonable expectations. The room was not clean upon arrival, which immediately raised concerns about the property’s standards. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when booking a hotel, and this experience fell well below that standard.
The customer service was equally disappointing. Staff members were unprofessional and did not handle my concerns in a respectful or helpful manner. Instead of working toward a resolution, I was left feeling dismissed and frustrated.
To make matters worse, I later learned my reservation had been treated as a no-show, even though I was actively trying to resolve the situation. The entire experience from the condition of the room to the handling of my concerns and the billing left me with very little confidence in this property.
I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. Travelers deserve clean accommodations, professional customer service, and accurate billing practices. Unfortunately, I received none of those.
