This hotel was absolutely horrible! From the start, check in made us wait until 6 pm to get our room. Once we finally got our room it smelt like vomit and stale butts. They refused to give us another room. We decided to deal and wait it out and see if the smell would go away. At check out, we were charged extra fees that weren’t explained to us at check in. The hotel also charged a friend of ours for a cabana room at the pool that he never purchased. That was a mess too. We didn’t have hot water the first day. Toilet was acting up and if you travel with children or co workers etc. there is no door to shower areas. So be prepared for that if that’s something you’d prefer and would want privacy. Then after all that, I get home and get a $500 smoking charge. Keep in mind we don’t smoke. If I’d guess it was the smell of the room from the actually start. They refused to take it off the smoking charge.
I still have a charge of $415 that has not dropped off. They claim it will, but it’s been days later. Still fighting with them over this too.
Every morning I would go to lobby and it never failed that I would hear others complaining of the same issues. Be careful if you do decide to book here. Only plus side, staff there was the absolute best. So kind and friendly. Always with smiles on their faces and willing to help. It’s the front desk, building issues and the management that definitely needs to be addressed and replaced.
