Lovely clean hotel, friendly staff and comfortable beds!

We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air‑conditioned rooms during an extreme heatwave. Upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that the room was unbearably hot and the air conditioning completely non‑functional. The receptionist then admitted that none of the rooms in the hotel had working air conditioning — a critical failure that was deliberately not disclosed in advance. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the hotel chose to notify guests about the sauna being out of service, yet failed to mention a far more serious issue affecting every single room. This is not just poor communication — it is a clear lack of transparency and basic duty of care toward guests. We were left with no viable option but to leave late at night and scramble to find alternative accommodation at significant additional cost and stress. This completely ruined what was meant to be a special trip. This experience was unacceptable on every level. Misleading information, zero accountability, and a complete disregard for guest wellbeing. We will absolutely not return and strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

Great choice of a hotel for a quick stop with good amenities. Busy on the F1 weekend but the team did very well ensuring all were welcome

Lovely and very competent staff. We were grateful for air conditioning but the bathroom was not nice. The normal shower pressure was boiling hot so we had to take very weak pressure showers. The meal in the pub was really disappointing. We’ve stayed at Leonardo Royal near St. Paul’s in London and it was half the price and much nicer. We won’t stay here again.

Overall good experience, clean room. Good amenities. However onsite restaurant was a let down - food was a bit cold. Parking was good and a good price.

The room was nice and clean, with everything you need. Plus a lovely big shower. We ordered some food to the room, I had a pretty basic sandwich that cost £12. Certainly not good value for money I found some of the staff a little rude. And there was an unexpected £8 car parking fee, that we weren't informed about on our arrival. I just happened to notice a sign on the desk when we got back at night.

They had a public event in the area you use to access rooms which made it a pain getting to and from through crowds if convention people. Shower draining onto the bathroom floor because it wasn't fired correctly... Drain higher than the out step

Nice room on ground level with easy parking. Bus stop located directly outside the hotel for easy access to Oxford

Arrived at 4pm one hour after checking opens and my room wasn't ready. Kind enough to give me a complimentary drink whichw as nice whilst I waited. Once I got the room there was hairs in the bathroom and bedsheets, but room was overall tidy. Seems to been cleaned in a rush. Also carpet has shown it's age with stains. Breakfast was lovely and Aircon room worked well for my one night. Although for a premium i may consider a different hotel in future. Reception was too busy at times to complain and I was in a rush so ended up just ignoring the issues.
