The taps appear worn out and are covered in marks, contributing to an overall sense of neglect. The room door was jammed, which added to the inconvenience. There is no lift in the building, making it difficult for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.
While a car is available for hire, the drivers are not knowledgeable about local attractions, so guests still need to do their own research. There is also no dedicated travel desk. Vegetarian dining options are very limited. Not all staff members are warm or welcoming, and the credit card machine frequently has issues, causing delays during payment.
That said, the property itself is a heritage building, which adds a certain charm and character. The exterior is picturesque and has an old-world appeal that some guests may appreciate.
